The Tetragrammaton (IAM/YHWH)
The word ‘tetragrammaton’ means 4 letters. These four letters are YHWH or JHVH.
These letters were initially utilized by ancient Israel to identify the only true and living God.
The Tetragrammaton was used in place of God’s actual name being written or spoken out in reverence of God; and that His Holiness would never be taken lightly. These 4 letters that identify His name also identify His Holy character, nature and essence. They are defined as follows: “to be”; “exist”; “become”; and “come to pass.”
When Moses asked God, in Exodus 3:14, who should he say had sent him to the children of Israel to free them; God told him to simply say that
“I AM has sent me to you!”
When the Jews said to Jesus in John 8:57 “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus replied to them in verse 58 saying
“Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
We don’t need long sermons or speeches for attempting to combat any type sin; because before any and every sin was “I AM!”
“All we need is more Jesus!”
We seek to become Christendom’s premiere accreditation network; much like the Better Business Bureau acts on behalf of secular businesses. This is a ministry alliance network of integrity and not a covering for ministers, ministries nor churches. We seek excellence and not the contrary. Our network goals are not to identify that which is corrupt; but rather to promote that which seeks to become impregnable by corruptions. We believe that by pursuing excellence all others will be exposed naturally. Allow me to give you a brief illustration before sharing a Scripture with you. There’s a stretch of interstate I travel regularly on I-10 going to and from Florida when visiting with my parents. Along this stretch of interstate, whether traveling east or west, I’m always met with a challenge. This stretch of open road has a posted speed limit of 70 miles per hour; with that said I normally do between 75 and 78 miles per hour myself. The challenge is, while driving my Dodge Challenger, pun intended, is that after allowing me to travel this way for some time, the posted speed limit drops dramatically to 60. Eventually the speed limits plummets all the way down to 50 miles per hour. What a bummer!
I’ve already taken liberties with the 70 mph limit so now this becomes a real challenge for me to come off the gas as much; I can be rather heavy footed at times. However, there are deterrents which aid my decision to break it down a little. Most importantly I haven’t gotten a speeding ticket in over 13 years now; for which I was previously notorious for getting. I once managed to get two in one day back in 1992 within a ten mile stretch of the same highway.
There are normally no cops to be seen when the posted speed limit drops, but I have a conscience and past costly experiences to help guide my decision making process. However, even though I have this going for me it’s difficult to watch other vehicles that I passed miles back now passing me up. The temptation to speed up comes in waves, as others shoot pass me, but I’m determine to remain constant.
After some time; I find myself becoming content with the new pace, and eventually I begin to notice that I may have become the conscience of others as they are slowing down as well. It appears that some are convicted by my abiding by the posted speed limits. Needless to say this gave me great comfort in trying to maintain the posted speed limits.
Others will begin to feel the need to live according to God’s Holy order if just a few are willing to toe the line first. There will be a gradual slowing down as many will continue trying to keep up with the world’s pride and greediness. However; righteousness will eventually prevail. We believe God, and do not think it necessary to speed ahead through gimmicks, the formulating of ungodly networks and in the giving and receiving of bribes. (See Proverbs 17:23)
We believe, we preach and we teach that Jesus is all we need (I AM)! We stand united with men and women of like faith; because we know as the Apostle Paul clearly stated in 2nd Thessalonians 3:1-2 as follows: “Finally brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly (or have free course) and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all (men-gender-free) have faith.”
